Word in zwei Byte variable ändern

Hallo wie kann man eine Word variable in zwei Byte variable ändern
und sie dann an den Ports ausgeben
Kann man auch die Bits an verschiedenen Pins ausgeben?
z.B. den das erste Bit der Byte variable an Port B 3 und das zweite
an Port C2 u.s.w.
